Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how ASTON H-S Ltd, trading as Convert77™, uses cookies and similar storage or access technologies on the Convert77™ website.

Convert77 uses a small amount of necessary browser storage, optional first-party analytics, optional embedded booking functionality and a user-initiated Stripe payment control. We do not use advertising pixels, session replay, browser fingerprinting or third-party behavioural advertising on the public website.
1. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?
Cookies are small text files that a website can ask your browser to store and return later. Similar technologies can include local storage, scripts, tags, link decoration and other methods of storing information on, or accessing information from, a browser or device.
The rules applying to these technologies in the United Kingdom are principally contained in the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), alongside the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 where personal data is involved.
2. How We Use Cookies and Similar Technologies
Strictly Necessary Storage
Necessary storage is used only where required to operate the website, remember a privacy choice, protect the service or provide functionality you have specifically requested.
- c77_consent stores your current privacy choices and consent version for up to 180 days.
- Convert77's private administration area may use c77_admin_session. This is not created for ordinary public visitors and expires after 12 hours.
- Hosting, security and network infrastructure may process technical request information necessary to deliver and protect the website.
A legacy c77_theme_mode localStorage value may remain on devices that visited an older version of the site. The current fixed-dark website does not read, update or rely on that value.
Optional First-Party Analytics
If you allow Analytics, Convert77 creates pseudonymous first-party identifiers so we can understand how the website is used and whether important journeys are working.
- c77_sid is an HttpOnly first-party session cookie with a rolling expiry of 30 minutes.
- c77_vid is an HttpOnly first-party visitor cookie with a maximum lifetime of 180 days.
Analytics can record page views, navigation and CTA activity, service interest, form progress, form validation outcomes, booking and Audit intent, Web Vitals, experiment exposure, local daypart, broad device class and whether the optional in-page personalisation is active. It can also retain referrer and UTM parameters such as source, medium, campaign, term and content for attribution.
Names, email addresses, free-text project descriptions, form answers and the first name used for optional page personalisation are not copied into analytics events. The first name itself stays only in React memory in your browser and is cleared by a full refresh. Analytics receives at most a boolean indicating whether personalisation was active.
Before you make a consent choice, Convert77 may temporarily hold the original landing path, referrer and UTM values in page memory so that a later consent choice does not misattribute the visit. That information is not persisted or sent to Convert77 unless Analytics is allowed.
Functional Booking Content
If you allow Functional content, the official Cal.com booking embed can load on the booking page. Before that choice, the Cal.com embed script is not loaded.
You can still use the direct Cal.com booking link without allowing the inline embed. Once you deliberately visit or load Cal.com, Cal.com may use its own cookies or similar technologies under its own privacy and cookie terms.
Stripe Secure Checkout
Stripe is used for the paid Business Growth Audit™ checkout. The Stripe payment control does not load merely because you visit the Audit page. It is loaded only after you deliberately choose the secure checkout action.
Once Stripe is loaded or you continue into Stripe's checkout, Stripe may use storage or access technologies required to provide payment, fraud-prevention, security and related services under its own terms.
Conversion Attribution References
Where Analytics is allowed, Convert77 may create a short-lived opaque reference before a Cal.com or Stripe handoff. The reference contains no name, email address or raw analytics-cookie value. It is used only to reconcile a confirmed booking or Audit purchase with the relevant consented first-party journey.
3. Providers and Website Infrastructure
The current Convert77 website is a custom Next.js application hosted on Render, with Cloudflare used for domain and network infrastructure. These providers may process request, security and operational information necessary to deliver the service.
Other services used in connection with the website include:
- Cal.com for appointment scheduling.
- Stripe for secure payment processing.
- Resend for transactional/internal email notifications generated by website enquiries and operational workflows.
- Google Search Console as a read-only, owner-authorised SEO/search performance integration in Convert77's private administration tools.
Google Search Console is not used as an on-site visitor tracker. Convert77 does not currently deploy Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, PostHog, Plausible, Mixpanel or TWIPLA session recording on the public website.
4. Your Choices and Consent
Optional Analytics and Functional content stay off unless you allow them. The consent interface lets you accept optional technologies, reject them, or manage the categories separately.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using in the website footer. Withdrawing Analytics clears the first-party analytics cookies and triggers deletion of the first-party analytics sessions associated with the current visitor/session identifiers, including linked first-party attribution where technically connected to those sessions.
Convert77 may retain a consent receipt for accountability even after a choice changes. A consent receipt records the choice and consent version, not the content of your browsing.
5. Retention
Current operational retention settings are:
- c77_consent: up to 180 days.
- c77_sid: 30-minute rolling session.
- c77_vid: up to 180 days.
- First-party analytics session/event data: normally up to 365 days.
- Consent receipts: normally up to 730 days.
- Webhook receipts used for reliable provider processing: normally up to 180 days.
- Opaque Cal.com/Stripe conversion references: expire after up to 30 days.
Provider-controlled cookies or storage may have different retention periods. Their current policies and the actual production browser behaviour should be consulted for provider-specific details.
6. Cookies, Similar Technologies and Personal Data
Some browser identifiers and analytics information can constitute personal data even where Convert77 does not know the visitor's civil identity. Where personal data is involved, it is handled in accordance with the Convert77 Privacy Policy.
The fact that a technology is first-party, pseudonymous or does not use advertising identifiers does not by itself remove PECR or data protection obligations.
7. Advertising, Session Replay and Fingerprinting
Convert77 does not currently use third-party advertising cookies, advertising pixels, session replay, raw mouse or keystroke recording, or device/browser fingerprinting on the public website.
If this changes materially, this policy and the consent mechanism will be updated before the new optional technology is relied upon where consent is required.
8. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when the website, analytics model, providers, retention settings or applicable legal requirements change. The latest version will be published here with an updated date.
